Every toll and site fee on Iceland's roads in one dated table
Vaðlaheiði 2,216 ISK, Hornafjörður 1,500, Hvalfjörður free, car parks 1,000–1,500, Þingvellir 1,000, Kerið 700 a head, Stokksnes 1,100 or 1,200. Read on 1 November 2026.
The short answer: the seven-day Ring Road week pays 7,381 ISK in fees that are certain and about 10,000 ISK if the two probable ones land, before Seljalandsfoss, whose price could not be read on any official page today. There are two road tolls in Iceland, both by camera, both in the east and north; everything else is a car park or an admission on private or protected land. The table is the lot, with the page each figure was read on.

The seven-day week, added up
Day 1, Keflavík to Vík: Skógafoss 1,000 + 89, Reynisfjara 1,000 + 89, Seljalandsfoss unknown. Day 2, Vík to Höfn: Skaftafell 1,110, Jökulsárlón 555 at the same-day discount, Hornafjörður westbound 1,500. Day 3, Höfn to Egilsstaðir: the eastbound Hornafjörður crossing, 1,500, depends on where the eastern camera sits relative to the Höfn roundabout, which neither Vegagerðin nor Spölur has published; count it. Day 4, Egilsstaðir to Mývatn: Stuðlagil, 1,000 + 89 if the stop page's reading holds. Day 5, Mývatn to Akureyri: Vaðlaheiði 2,216, or nothing over Víkurskarð. Days 6 and 7: nothing.
Certain: 1,000 + 1,000 + 1,110 + 555 + 1,500 + 2,216 = 7,381 ISK, plus 178 in Parka transaction fees. Probable: + 1,500 + 1,089 = 10,148. Add Seljalandsfoss at whatever the sign says.
The ten-day loop adds Stokksnes on Day 3, 2,200 or 2,400 for two people, and Þingvellir does not come into it; the five-day South Coast and Golden Circle ledger pays Þingvellir 1,000, Kerið 1,400 for two and the Day 4 Skaftafell–Jökulsárlón pair 1,665, with no toll. The Highlands ledger arrives at Landmannalaugar on 11 July in the early afternoon, inside the 20 June–13 September booking window and the 09:00–16:00 hours, so the 1,500 ISK is a reservation, not a payment on arrival. The ferry journey pays Hornafjörður twice for certain, out on Day 10 and back on Day 11, plus Þingvellir on Day 9 and the park pair on Day 10.
Hire cars and cameras
Three of the fees are camera-read against the number plate: both tolls and the Landmannalaugar car park. For a hire car the owner on the register is the hire company. Vaðlaheiði's page gives a 24-hour window to pay a single trip yourself; Spölur's gives a single-trip page for Hornafjörður; neither says what a hire company adds if the bill reaches them first, so pay within the window and keep the receipt with the rental papers.
