How routes are chosen, how every figure is sourced, who publishes the site, and the rules that keep it honest.

Who publishes this site
supjourney is published by GGG-388 ehf., Reykjavík. No attraction is ever a route's headline; where a route passes one, it is mentioned neutrally and the stop is listed on the same terms as every other.
How the ledgers are built
- Distances come from the national road authorities (Vegagerðin / umferdin.is, Statens vegvesen, Landsverk, Trafikverket, Väylä) or their published road articles; driving minutes are at legal speeds in normal conditions, rounded to five. Winter adds a fifth to a half; the page says so.
- Ferries and flights are listed only with the operator named and the cadence taken from its own timetable, with the date we read it. Prices appear only as the operator's published "from" figure with its date.
- Daylight is computed with the NOAA solar algorithm for the day's midpoint and the date you choose; it is labelled computed.
- Fuel uses a dated price from an operator or official source and a stated consumption; change either and the ledger recomputes.
- Accommodation and food are bands (budget, mid, upper), never invented numbers.
- Safety wording comes from safetravel.is, the road authorities and the national parks, quoted.
- Every ledger carries a checked on date; we re-check twice a year and whenever a reader reports a change.
What a journey page must have
An answer in the first paragraph; one unique element (the ledger, or a computed comparison); a byline and published, updated and checked dates; sources at the end; British English with Nordic letters intact.
