Seven Ring Road hot springs by the hour and by the detour
Earth Lagoon, Vök, Forest Lagoon, GeoSea, Krauma, Secret Lagoon, Hvammsvík: adult prices read 1 November 2026, the detour from Route 1, and the ledger day each fits.
The cheapest hour in warm water on the Ring Road is at the Secret Lagoon at Flúðir, 2,250 ISK for each of two hours, and the cheapest in detour terms is the Forest Lagoon at Akureyri, 8 km and 14 minutes there and back from Route 1. The dearest per hour are Earth Lagoon at Mývatn and Krauma in Borgarfjörður at 3,950 ISK, and the costliest in road is Krauma, 73 km and 71 minutes off the ledger. All seven prices were read on the operators' own pages on 1 November 2026; the detours are OSRM over OpenStreetMap, computed the same day, from where the ledger leaves Route 1. No operator publishes a time limit, so the per-hour figure divides the adult price by the two-hour stay this site's experience pages assume; the floor divides it by the whole opening span.

What the table says
Three of the seven cost almost nothing in road. Earth Lagoon, Vök and the Forest Lagoon are each under 14 km and 20 minutes from the ledger, on an evening when it has already arrived: the Mývatn, Egilsstaðir and Akureyri nights. At 7,490 to 7,900 ISK an adult they are the same price within a few hundred krónur, so the choice between them is which evening has the daylight and the energy left. Vök's homepage said on the day that its booking engine was not active; book by e-mail.
GeoSea is a Húsavík bath, not a Ring Road bath: 3.5 km from the harbour, 97 km return from Route 1 at the Goðafoss junction, so it belongs on the 10-day ledger's Diamond Circle day or the north ledger's Day 3. Its price is the one unresolved figure: the Icelandic and English versions of the same page showed 7,490 and 6,490 krónur on the day.
Krauma is the awkward one. It is on Route 50 beside Deildartunguhver, 36 km from Borgarnes each way, and opens at 11:00, so on the 7-day ledger it is a Day 7 morning that puts you back on Route 1 at about 14:00 with 115 km still to drive. That is fine for an evening flight and wrong for an afternoon one. On the 10-day ledger it sits on the road to Hraunfossar.
The Secret Lagoon costs no day at all. The 5-day ledger's Golden Circle returns from Gullfoss to Selfoss on Route 35, 69.6 km; going by Flúðir on Routes 30 and 35 is 81.3 km, 12 km and a quarter of an hour more, and the pool is beside the road. At 4,500 ISK it is 60 per cent of the others' price.
Hvammsvík is the only one whose price was not in the page text on 1 November 2026: the booking block loads after a time slot is chosen, and the FAQ says only that everyone over the age limit of ten pays the same fee, and that guests may "stay as long as you like after entry", the only statement on length of stay any of the seven makes. It is on the south shore of Hvalfjörður, 55.7 km from Reykjavík by OSRM (the operator says 55 to 56); on the last day of the 7-day loop, leaving Route 1 before the tunnel and rejoining it after the fjord adds 44 km and 44 minutes to the Borgarnes–Reykjavík leg.
Nobody stays ten hours, so the honest figure is the two-hour one, and by it every bath here except Flúðir is between 3,700 and 4,000 ISK an hour: priced as a group, so the choice is geography.
